Parents & Carers
As a school, we are always aware of the value of parent partnerships. We understand how useful it is for us to communicate regularly with you, and we do this through newsletters, general communication letters, emails, texts and phone calls. You are also welcome to make appointments to see individual members of staff either via the office, or directly through the relevant person.
Polite Reminder
To ensure the safety and well-being of pupils, staff and visitors to the school, we remind you that only assistance dogs are permitted on the school site. Dogs should be kept away from entryways and walkways so that children have a choice whether they want to come in direct contact with animals.
School Uniform
We expect all children to wear our school uniform. Most parts of the uniform can be purchased from local clothes shops or supermarkets. The purple school jumper or cardigan with Shire Oak logo can be purchased new from the office or alternatively good quality second hand uniform can be purchased through FOSOPS (the school PTA).
This compromises of:
General Uniform:
Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore
White shirt or white or purple polo shirt
Purple jumper or cardigan
Black school shoes, suitable for all weather
P.E.Kit:
Plain T-shirt (white or purple)
Dark Shorts Black PE Pumps
Dark jogging bottoms
Jewellery should not be worn & hair should be tied back
